your game starts at 20:34. Great setting and characters! The opening cutscene made Sand boy's motivation clear. Using a controller for a platformer is always an appreciated design. The 2.5D world was very cool to run around in and sand mode was a creative idea and made the whole game feel unique. Our one suggestion is if you make more worlds and they aren't desert based, sand mode can be used to pass though areas like grass in a jungle level, goo in a toxic world, etc. I did get stuck when I released sand mode button too early, but I was able to spam the button and activate it. Our only two gripes would be activating sand mode took a few button presses and blind jumps can lead to frustration as we don't know where to aim. Keep up the good work!

Really cute music and great controls! The sand mode was a great mechanic!
